Rome Superintendent Jeffery Simons released a statement saying the Rome City School District will review its options at a Board of Education finance committee meeting tonight.

Simons said the board may consider revising the proposed budget and going for a second vote on June 17.

He said the board also has the option to implement a contingency budget which would not require a second public vote.

At this point the district is evaluating the results of last nights budget vote.
