Rome Woman Arrested For Rape

A Rome woman has been arrested for allegedly having sex with a child under the age of 17.

Investigators with the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center say 31-year old Toyna Kersey had sex with a 15-year old boy in April.

Kersey was charged with rape.

The investigation has been turned over to the District Attorney's Office for Grand Jury action.

The victim has been offered counseling through the CAC.
