Rome Woman Charged Following Crash

Washington, Mills, NY (WIBX) - A Rome woman was charged with drug possession following an accident on Route 8 in Washington Mills.

New Hartford Police say 32-year old Brooke Bullen was semi-conscious behind the wheel and had to be extricated from the vehicle by the Jaws of Life.

Police say they found heroin, marijuana and two syringes in her car.

Bullen was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a hypodermic needle and unlawful possession of marijuana.

She was taken to St. Elizabeth Medical Center, where she was treated and released.
