Rome Woman Charged In Murder For Hire Plot

Rome, NY (WIBX) – A Rome woman has been charged in a murder-for-hire plot.
Rome Police say 28-year old Angela Tefft was arrested after giving another person a large sum of money to have a family member killed.
The investigation began when police received tips that Tefft was actively looking for someone to kill a family member.
Tefft was charged with criminal solicitation, a felony.
She’s being held in the Oneida County jail on $75,000 bail.
