Rome Woman Charged With DWI With Two Children In Car

A Rome woman is facing several charges after Rome Police found her asleep at the wheel of a vehicle with two young children inside.

28-year old Brittany Bean is charged with 2 counts of aggravated DWI under Leandra's Law, DUI-Drugs and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Police say they found Bean's 9-year old son and three year old daughter in the backseat of the car.

Bean was processed at the Rome Police Department and then transported to the Oneida County Jail, where she was held for arraignment.
