Rome Woman Charged With Felony Criminal Mischief

A Rome woman is facing a felony criminal mischief charge for allegedly damaging a car in the parking lot at the Wal Mart in Rome.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says 38-year old Rebecca Gilbert caused over $1,4000 in damage to the vehicle.

They say Gilbert was upset that the victim had pulled into a parking spot that she was attempting to pull into.

The incident happened in December.
