Rome Woman Charged With Identity Theft

A Rome woman was arrested for allegedly using a relatives personal information to obtain a credit card in the relative's name.

24-year old Melissa Brown was charged with identity theft.

According to the Oneida County Sheriff's Office, Brown used the credit card in an amount topping 500-dollars before it was discovered and deactivated.
