Rome Woman Charged With Possessing Cocaine

A traffic stop on Albany Street in Utica led to the arrest of a Rome woman for possession of cocaine.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says they allegedly found marijuana and a large amount of cocaine in a car driven by 27-year old Amelia Vella.

Vella was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
