SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities say a central New York woman has been convicted of aggravated vehicular manslaughter stemming from a fatal wrong-way crash last year on Interstate 81.

The Onondaga County District Attorney's Office says 34-year-old Amy Dell of Rome  was found guilty Tuesday afternoon. She was also convicted of aggravated unlicensed operation.

Dell faces up to 25 years in prison at her sentencing June 30.

She had been accused of drunkenly driving her sport utility vehicle the wrong way on I-81 south of Syracuse in May 2015 when she slammed head-on into a car driven by 58-year-old Bruce Ham, who was headed home to West Orange, New Jersey, after a trip to Toronto.

Prosecutors say Dell left her bartending job in Syracuse and went barhopping before the crash.
