Rome Woman Facing Drug Charges

A Rome woman was arrested after police allegedly found $3,000 worth of heroin in her home.

Rome Police say the heroin was found inside the Liberty Gardens Apartment of 30-year old Amelinda Johnson during a probation visit.

Johnson is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession with intent to sell.

Police say she also had a warrant out of Rome City Court for a previous incident.
