Texas Man Charged with Drunk Driving in Ilion

A Texas man is including a court visit in his trip to Central New York.

Ilion Police arrested 30-year-old William Kenneth Schorer, Jr. of Round Rock, Texas for allegedly driving while intoxicated.

After tickets were issued Schorer, Jr. was released pending a September 22, 2015 court appearance.

In addition to the misdemeanor DWI, Schorer was officially charged with driving with a blood alcohol concentration of .08-percent or higher (also a misdemeanor).
