Route 26 Arterial Accident Sends Florida Woman To ER

Rome, NY (WIBX) -A morning accident on Route 26 South Arterial in Rome send a Florida woman to the hospital with neck injuries. According to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, 29-year old Wendy Hoilman was traveling South on the Arterial when she lost control of her car and collided with another vehicle driven by 32-year old Robert Kilgore of Taberg.

Hoilman was treated at the scene and transported to the Emergency Room. Kilgore was not injured in the accident. Officials say Hoilman was ticketed for “Unsafe Speed For Road Conditions” and is to appear in Rome City Court on a later date to answer the charge.
