Political strategists Karl Rove and David Axlerod will discuss current issues at Hamilton College on Wednesday, October 18th at 7:00 in the Margaret Bundy Scott Field House.

USA Today Washington Bureau Chief Susan Page will moderate.

Hamilton is receiving special funding for the event, which the college is calling "Common Ground."

The program is free, but tickets will be required.  More information will be posted on the Hamilton College website in September.

Hamilton President David Wippman says the program responds to the sharp and escalating political polarization in the United State and abroad.

“The goal for Common Ground is for the speakers, one a Democrat, the other a Republican, to model the kind of respectful dialogue across political boundaries that should occur not just on college campuses, but in the broader society as well,” Wippman said.
