Samaritan Counseling Center To Expand Services

The Samaritan Counseling Center will be expanding services in Herkimer County thanks to a $3,5000 Community Health Award from Excellus BlueCross BlueShield.

The center provides outpatient mental health services for children and adults in the Mohawk Valley, with offices in Utica, Rome and Hamilton.

The grant will allow the center to provide more than 230 hours of counseling to individuals who would likely go without treatment.
