Saratoga Casino and Raceway Abandoning Plans to Add Full Scale Gambling
A Capital Region gambling site will not be expanding, at least in the way it may have originally planned.
The Saratoga Casino and Raceway is abandoning plans to add full scale gambling to its facility.

The "Racino," as it is known, is moving forward with a plan to put a casino resort about 35 miles away in East Greenbush. The Town of East Greenbush passed a resolution last week supporting "reasonable casino development."
The multi-million dollar expansion plan includes a hotel, spa, pool, and convention center along with an entertainment venue.
