Sav-On Stores To Host “Carnations And Kisses” Giveaway

Oneida Nation Homelands (WIBX) - In honor of Valentine's Day, local Sav-On Convenience Stores are doing something nice for their customers.

Starting tomorrow morning at 7 a.m., customers stopping at any of the area's 12 Sav-On stores will receive a carnation and a handful of Hershey's Kisses, as part of the business' first "Carnations and Kisses" giveaway.

In preparation for the event, the chain purchased 1,000 carnations and nearly 5,000 Hershey's Kisses, straight from the company.

Sean Brown, director of Sav-On Business Operations, said the event is a great way to thank their customers.

"It's a fun way of saying thank you to our guests," Brown said. "We really appreciate their business and we like to have a little fun in the stores, too. So, what better day to do that on than on Valentine's Day?"

This is the first year the group has run "Carnations and Kisses" promotion, and if it's successful they would like to expand the operation next year.
