Sayre Man Charged with 300 Child Sex Assault Counts

A Sayre man, who had been on the run from authorities, is back in custody in Pennsylvania and is charged with 300 counts in connection with the alleged rape of a child.

32-Year-old Tyler Shelton was apprehended in South Carolina in August by the Horry County Police as a fugitive from justice.

Pennsylvania State Police say Shelton was returned to Bradford County and is charged with 100 felony counts each of rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child and aggravated indecent assault of a child.

He was sent to the Bradford County Jail on $100,000 bail.
