The U.S. Small Business Association is announcing economic disaster loans for small businesses, farms and private non-profit organizations as a result of severe weather incidents between April 1, and July 8, 2014.

Loans of up to $2 million with low interest rates will be available for businesses that suffered financial losses as a result of damage from high winds, excessive rain, flooding and hail.

Businesses in Cortland, Herkimer, Madison, Oneida, Oswego and Tioga counties are eligible for the loans.
