Former Trenton Town Supervisor Mark Scheidelman was sentenced to two years in state prison and five years post-release supervision by Oneida County Court Judge Michael Dwyer.

He'll also have to register as a sex offender.

Scheidelman was found guilty in May of sexual abuse for inappropriately touching a ten-year old boy at his home last November.

Assistant Oneida County District Attorney Dawn Lupi says she's satisfied with the sentence.

Scheidelman's attorney George Aney says he will appeal the judge's sentence.
