More than 300 charges are being leveled against members of a drug ring that used celebrity names as code words for drugs.

New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman says the ring used "Britney" as a code word for crack, while "Christina Aguilera" was the code word for powdered cocaine.

Schneiderman's office is charging 25 defendants in the case.

The drug ring also allegedly distributed morphine, illegal prescription medications and Ecstasy between New York City, the Capital Region, and several other upstate counties
