Floods Along the Mohawk This Morning
It is floods along the Mohawk today. The National Weather Service says a River Flood warning along the Mohawk River, especially in Utica, is in effect until further notice.
The Oppenheim Ephratah St. Johnsville School District is on a two-hour delay today.
The Cooperstown Central School District is on a one-hour delay.
Update: Mohawk Street between Whitesboro and Marcy is now open.
State Route 5 between Kirkland Avenue and State Route 233 in the Towns of Westmoreland and Kirkland is closed because of flooding.
Route 51 near the Ilion Gorge is closed until further notice because of mudslides.
