School Supplies Help Needy Kids

Fidelis Care, the Oakdale Mall and Townsquare Media teamed up to hold a back to school supplies drive to help needy kids in our community.  Back to school shoppers were encouraged to purchase additional items when they were shopping for their own family members.

Shoppers were asked to drop off their extra items in the "Little Red Schoolhouse" constructed at Center Court in the Oakdale Mall.  Fidelis Care, a faith-based, mission-driven health plan service coordinated the event along with the Oakdale Mall.  Townsquare Media personalities did live broadcasts from the Mall for the three-week collection drive to promote donations.

Items donated included backpacks, pens, pencils, coloring books and various other school supplies.  The donated supplies are being delivered to Mom's House and the Family Enrichment Network.
