Schumer Calls For Do Not Ride List

New York, NY (WIBX) - New York Senator Charles Schumer is calling for a "Do Not Ride" list to ban suspected terrorists from Amtrak trains.

The Senator wants the enhanced security after evidence found in Osama bin Laden's hideout allegedly included plans for derailing a train car.

Schumer says the "Do Not Ride" list would be similar to the "Do Not Fly" list currently in place for air travel.

Schumer is also calling for tighter security on trains including more resources for local authorities to monitor stations and rail infrastructure.
