Schumer Launches Push To Help Empire Brewing Expand

Senator Charles Schumer was at Empire Brewing Company in Syracuse today to launch his push to secure federal funding to allow Empire Brewing to expand in Central New York.

The brewery is looking to build it's own farm in Central New York to grow hops and build a bottling facility.

The bottling facility would allow Empire to bottle their own beer for the first time in the company's 20 year history.

Schumer pledged his full efforts to help Empire secure funding from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, because he says it will help create over 50 jobs and put in place a new model that would boost Central New York's Craft brewing industry.
