Schumer Takes Two-Fisted Approach To Keep NY Beers On Tap

Brooklyn, NY (WIBX) - Lawmakers are holding a plan in each hand as they try to prevent the growing New York beer industry from going flat.

Senator Charles Schumer wants to cut the federal tax on small breweries in half following the loss of a tax credit on crafted beer. 

Schumer hopes that the Federal Brewer's Employment and Excise Tax Relief Act will keep New York brews on tap.
