Schumer Wants More Whooping Cough Vaccines

New York, NY (WIBX) - New York Senator Charles Schumer says the number of whooping cough cases has tripled in New York state in the last year.

Schumer is calling on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to make free vaccines more available and target adults who have not been vaccinated in a long time.

There have been nearly 1,300 cases in the state this year.
