Search For Missing Hunter Underway

Paris, NY (WIBX) - The search for a missing hunter in the Town of Paris resumed this morning.The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says 64-year old Richard Knight left his home on Butler Road at about 6:00 Wednesday morning but did not return.

Crews searched for Knight in the wooded area near his home until 11:30 last night.

State Police, State Forest Rangers, New Hartford Police and members of the Sauquoit, Willowvale, Westmoreland and Oriskany Fire Departments are providing manpower and equipment.
