Search Warrant Results In Charges For Utica Man

A Utica man is facing drug and weapons charges after police executed a search warrant at an apartment on Park Avenue in Utica.

State Police have charged 45-year old Nathaniel Prester with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a weapon.

Police allegedly seized cocaine, crack cocaine, heroin and marijuana, along with a digtal scale, packaging material and over $2,2000 in cash.  They also found a loaded semi-automatic pistol.

Prester is being held in the Oneida County jail without bail.

Authorities say Prester will face additional charges pending grand jury action.
