Residents and business owners in parts of the Oneida County Sewer District will see additional work as crews begin the second phase of lining to rehab local sewer mains.

The project is part of the Sewer District's program to rehabilitates the sewer infrastructure and reduce the amount of unnecessary flow into the system.

Oneida County has contracted Green Mountain Pipe Line Services to install new sewer pipes without the need for excavation.

Work will be completed through April throughout the district.

Affected residents will get service interuption notices about one week and again 24 hours prior to scheduled work.
