A second set of what is believed to be human remains was found at a Saint Lawrence County home.

New York State Police say an investigation led them to obtain a search warrant for a home located at 733 May Road in Stockholm, New York on March 19, 2014.

Two days later the Troop B Forensic Identification Unit located what they determined to be the remains of a person buried on the property.

In a written release troopers said they would by working with the St. Lawrence County Coroner, Jamie Sienkiewycz, to identify the remains.  In the meantime they would continue to excavate and investigate.

On Monday, March 24, 2014 another set of remains was found, also believed to be those of a human being.  Both sets have been exhumed and are being brought to Albany Medical Center for autopsy.

The State Police the Town of Stockholm, Saint Lawrence Gas, and New York State Electric and Gas have assisted the case by supplying equipment for the investigation.
