Section III Boys Basketball Finals Sunday at the Dome

The Mohawk Valley is well represented at today’s Section III Boy’s Basketball finals at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse. A full day of high school hoops is on tap starting with the Class C Championship game at 11 a.m. that pits Mohawk against Beaver River. It’s Mohawk’s last-ever appearance in the tournament as that district will cease to exist in June following the merger passage with Ilion, last month.
Other games today include Class D New York Mills against Cincinnatus at 12:45 as Mills is seeking their fifth straight sectional title. Proctor
will play Henninger at 4:30 in AA and at 6:30, New Hartford faces Bishop Ludden in the Class A final.
