Police in Seneca Falls are warning parents about an attempted child luring incident that took place earlier this week.

On Monday, November 23, 2015 Seneca Falls Police say a man, described as "white, with orange or red hair and a possible beard and mustache," stopped a ten-year-old girl in two separate driveways as she walked home from the home of a friend.

The man is believed to have opened the front passenger side door from the inside and spoken with the child twice.  Both times she declined his invitation.

The incidents took place on East Bayard Street.

When she went home she told her parents what happened and they notified authorities.

The car was a newer, white four-door sedan.

Anyone with information is being asked to call police.
