Senior Leadership Change At Rome Laboratory

There's a been change in  leadership at Rome Laboratory.

Gabriel Sbarglia has been  promoted to Chief of the Integration and Operations Division at the Air Force Research Lab.

Sbarglia replaces Daniel Bollana, who retired in January after 35 years of Federal service.

He'll oversee a diverse support division encompassing civil engineering, logistics, computers/communications, human resources, information management and security. RIO is the largest division at the directorate, with over 170 staff members.

In his position as chief, Sbarglia will lead the management and maintenance of site facilities providing critical support for a variety of scientific and engineering activities.  He brings 21 years of experience beginning as a computer scientist in the Communications and Computer Systems Branch, advancing to Deputy Chief and now Chief of RIO.
