Serious Motor Vehicle Accident Sends 5 to Hospital

Verona, NY (WIBX) - A serious accident sends 5 people to the hospital. According to State Police, 28-year old Amamda Trepasso attempted to make a U-turn on State Route 365 near the entrance to Turning Stone Casino in Verona. Her car was hit by a Ford Expedition, driven by 22-year old Gene Carey of Rome.

Trepasso and her passenger were transported to a local hospital with injuries, the passenger sustained serious head and internal injuries. Carey and his 3 passengers were also transported to an area hospital for evaluation.
