Seven Taken To The Hospital Following Utica Fire

Seven people were taken to the hospital following an early morning fire in Utica.

Utica firefighters responded to the Michael Walsh Apartment complex on Gray Avenue just before 5:00 this morning.

First responders found people trapped on the second floor and had to break through windows to rescue a woman and two children.

The condition of the individuals brought to the hospital is not known.

The fiire was brought under control in about an hour.

The cause is under investigation.
