Utica, NY (WIBX) -  A shake-up at Utica City Hall that has resulted in the firings of the Corporation Counsel, Codes Commissioner and the city's Commercial Revitalization Director.

Utica Mayor David Roefaro says Linda Sullivan Fatata, Robert Sullivan and Robert Palmieri were all relieved for their duties today.

The mayor would only say that his administration has decided 'to go in a different direction'.

When asked if the different direction involved any investigation, including GroWest , Roefaro said it did not, and again said his administration is going in a different direction.

All three were escorted out of the building this morning by a plain-clothes police officer, Roefaro said, something that is standard procedure when someone is let go.

Roefaro said, at this time, he did not know who would be filling those positions.

Fatata has worked in the Corporation Counsel's Office since 1986 and earned an annual salary of $71,725.

Palmieri started working a City Hall in 2003 and has held a few positions including Codes Commissioner and Weed and Seed Liason. His annual salary ws $56,549. 

And, Robert Sullivan worked under two different administartions since 2000, including City Clerk and held various positions in city government. At the time of his dismissal he was being paid a salary of $55,000.

The salaries and hire dates were provided to WIBX by the city's payroll department.
