Utica, NY (WIBX) - A sharp-eyed Utica Police officer was able to arrested an alleged rapist Saturday. According to authorities, 20-year old Chappell Miller-Carter was seen by the officer just moments before a "be on the look out" bulletin was issued for a male matching the description of Miller-Carter.

 Utica Police believe the 20-year old broke into a Wetmore Street residence and forcibly raped a female victim, then stole her video game system. Police say that when Miller-Carter was apprehended by the officer, he was carrying a video game system similar to that of the victims. He was take into custody after a short-lived attempt to flee and charged with Rape, Burglary and Aggravated Sexual Abuse, all felonies. 

Miller-Carter was also charged with 3 lesser charges, including resisting arrest.
