Sherburne Man Facing Child Abuse Charges

A Sherburne man is in jail after allegedly breaking multiple bones of a 9 month old boy.

State Police arrested Brandon Thomas for assault and endangering the welfare of a child after an investigation found that the boys injuries were sustained while in the care of Thomas, who is the live-in boyfriend of the child's mother.

The boy was treated for a broken arm and leg at a Syracuse hospital, and Thomas was sent to the Chenango County Jail on $20,000 bail.
