With the coming of spring the Oneida County Sheriff's Department has been busy beautifying the grounds at the Deputy Kurt Wyman Law Enforcement building in Oriskany.

A special six-point star-planter was unveiled, complete with red, white and blue flowers.

The planter was built by officers Michael Lalonde and Michael Clark.

Sheriff Rob Maciol said the Sheriff's Office takes great pride in maintaining its vehicles equipment and grounds.
