Oneida County Sheriff Rob Maciol will be seeking a third term in office.

Maciol was joined by family, friends and supporters at the Club Monarch in Yorkville on Tuesday to officially announce his re-election bid.

“It has been an honor to serve as your Sheriff – a responsibility I never take for granted and wish to resume,” Maciol said. “I remain driven to serve and protect our county and the many communities within it to the best of my abilities.”

Maciol was first elected Sheriff in 2010

He's been endorsed by the Oneida County Democratic Committee.
