Sheriff’s Investigating Fatal Accident In Floyd [UPDATE]

A Marcy man was killed Thursday morning in a one-car accident on Watson Hollow Road near Camroden Road in the Town of Floyd.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says 25-year old Joseph Kelley, Junior lost control of his vehicle, drove into a ditch and struck the side of a driveway culvert.

The vehicle then continued across the driveway and hit a bush and two trees before coming to rest in a ditch.

Kelley was pronounced dead at the scene.

Deputies say Kelley was wearing a seat belt.

The accident remains under investigation.
