The Oneida County Sheriff's office is requesting the public's help in locating the driver of a vehicle involved in an accident. At the time of the personal injury accident there were five passengers.

The driver of that vehicle is said to be 24-year-old Windwarrior Gomez of Utica. Sheriff's Deputies responded to the scene of the crash at the intersection of Brouillette Road and Hanover Road in the Town of Marshall.

It is alleged that Gomez was operating a black 2013 Hyundai Elantra on Peck Road when he failed to turn right onto Brouillette Road. He then left the shoulder of Brouillette before striking a ditch and coming to rest on Hanover Road.

Deputies say a front female passenger. and Gomez left the scene prior to law enforcement arrived. The two right rear passengers were not injured, but the left rear passenger suffered a facial injury in the accident and was transported to St. Elizabeth's hospital for further treatment.

At this time the investigation and any charges are pending. The Sheriff's Office is requesting the public's assistance in locating Gomez. Any information as to his whereabouts can be forwarded to Deputy Maxam by calling 736-0141 or 765-2774. All calls will remain confidential.
