Sheriff’s Office Seeking Special Patrol Officer Applications

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office is looking for qualified candidates to apply for several upcoming Special Patrol Officer positions.

The SPO's are assigned to a variety of security posts throughout the County, with a majority of them assigned to various school districts that are under contract with the Sheriff's Office for security services.

Minimum qualifications include being a retired Police Officer or retired Peace Officer in New York State.

Candidates must possess a valid New York State Pistol Permit.
