Shooting Victim Undergoes Surgery, Police Seeking Leads

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica police continue to investigate Thursday night's shooting on James Street and are asking for help from the public in developing a suspect.

Police say 31-year-old Jacques Yates was shot in the chest at around 8:45 Thursday night.

Yates underwent surgery and is recovering in stable condition, police said.
