Should Equal Pay For Men And Women Be Mandated?

Marcy, NY (WIBX) – Senate Republicans filibustered to block the Paycheck Fairness Act. The vote was 52 to 47, three shy of the 60 needed to move the bill forward to passage.
Proponents of the bill say women who work full-time, year-round make only seventy-seven cents for every dollar that men earn. Opponents say that there are other reasons for the disparities.
