Should State OT Be Monitored Better?

Kristine Bellino, WIBX

Overtime paid to state employees cost taxpayers about $529 million last year.

In a written statement the New York State Comptroller, Thomas DiNapoli, says, “New York State policy requires limiting overtime to a minimum, and I urge all agencies to ensure that this expense is reduced whenever possible.”

Do you agree with DiNapoli?  Comment on our Facebook page and vote in today’s Question of the Day.  If you have more questions for the Comptroller post them on Facebook and we will ask him on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 when he joins us on WIBX First News with Keeler in the Morning.
