Should States Prohibit Certain Emblems from Appearing on License Plates?
The United States Supreme Court is debating whether the state of Texas has the right to refuse a vanity plate to a driver who is requesting that it bears the emblem of the Confederate flag.
Texas has refused the plate claiming that the emblem is offensive in modern times.
Should a state have the right to dictate which emblems are (or are not) permitted on their plates?
