Siena College Poll, Cuomo Still Popular
Loudonville, NY (WIBX) – New York voters continue to have a very favorable view of Governor Cuomo and a majority still believe he’s doing an excellent or good job.
That’s according to a new Siena Research Institue Poll.
71% of voters surveyed have a favorable view of Cuomo, while only 20% view him unfavorably.
On his efforts to improve the state’s economy, 44% of voters give him a grade of “A” or “B”, while 37% give him a “C.”
The poll also found that a property tax cap, supported by three-quarters of voters, and ethics reform, supported by four of five voters, remain the top two issues that residents want addressed by the end of the legislative session.
