Sign Being Dedicated To Fallen Trooper Amanda Anna Today
New York State Police will be closing parts of County Route 37, in Oswego County between one and three this afternoon for a ceremony honoring fallen trooper Amanda Anna.
A sign will be dedicated to the six-year veteran of the force who was killed during an accident in May 2012. It is believed she was in pursuit of a vehicle when she lost control of her troop car.
The sign is being erected by the Badge of Honor Association and New York State Police. The closure will affect CR-37 between State Route 11 and Caughdenoy Road.
The ceremony honoring Anna takes place at 2:00pm.
