“Simpsons” Stamps Don’t Sell

Washington, DC (WIBX) – It looks like the U.S. Postal Service guessed wrong on the popularity of “The Simpsons” stamps.
The cash-strapped Postal Service produced a billion stamps commemorating the popular animated TV series.
But they sold fewer than 320-million.
That resulted in a $1.2 million loss for the Postal Service.
As Homer Simpson would say, “D’Oh!”
